MST 48 NT1

Following presentation of the 55 NT in 1999, here is Navisystem’s smallest TV satellite antenna for boats under ten metres long.

This "made in Italy" product is offered to satisfy that segment of the market having particularly small space requirements and at the same time does not require multi-satellite reception as supplied by the MST 55 NT, MST 65 NT, MST 95 NT models. The MST 48 NT 1 indeed comes equipped with a "mini control unit" called Sat 48 that lets you track only two satellites. It has a 12V DC power supply and there are only two RF outputs, like models that have been on the market for several years.

The disk’s 48 centimetres are the minimum for getting past several low signal difficulties encountered in the 45-cm models. These three centimetres of extra diameter are a lot for the signal picked up by the satellite and are very few for the extra space it takes up. The two standard programmed satellites are Hot Bird 13 E and Astra 19 E, but other satellites such as Hispsat 30 W or Astra 2 28 E may be programmed. This MST 48 NT 1 system is compatible with all of the other Navisystem models mentioned above. The fastening base and cables are, in fact, the same for all the models. The radome is very small, with a 52-cm diameter and 55-cm height.
